Inspection and Certification procedure & Types
The certification of the swimming pools is carried out in accordance with the Ministerial Decision 7888/2017 - Official Gazette 1654/B/15-5-2017 as well as with the Sanitary Order Γ1/443/1973 and its Ministerial Decisions and Amendments: Γ4/1150/1976, DYG80825/05/2006 and the inspection is carried out in accordance with requirements of the legislation as well as the relevant EN 15288-1 standards and concerns:
Public swimming pools Private swimming pools Hotel pools Pools of wellness centers - spas Pools of rehabilitation centers
The inspection includes indicatively the following:
- Study review mainly for the initial inspection (if any) Maintenance and Operation Manuals,
- maintenance records
- Visual Inspection of built-ins
- Inspection of correct placement and installation of the structure
- Inspection of mechanical equipment (filters, pumps, polyvalves, other pump station equipment)
- Inspection of adequate filtration water recirculation
- Inspection of chemical storage area Inspection of chemical treatment
- Inspection of entrances, exits, stairs, access ramps, railings
- Inspection of compliance with the safety stops and tolerances
- Check of mandatory markings
- Functional checks
- Check of operational characteristics (Lifeguards, Training, Documentation) and maintenance
- Issuance of Inspection Report and related Inspection Certificate
